While the place has a lot of potential and staff was nice, the service itself was disappointing and the value was not there.
I booked a seaweed body treatment ($175). Upon entering the room, I was laid on what felt like cling wrap and my masseuse started very lightly brushing me with a dry brush before wrapping me in the cling wrap for not even enough time to stimulate sweating. Then I showered and came back for the massage part which was just fine.
The amenities include 2 person sauna that took 15 min to heat up and a small “relax” area with a (albeit quiet) child watching tv and eating snacks.
Had a facial here about a month ago, at that time made an appointment to have another on 8/4 at 8:15 am. I received a call on 8/3 at 315 saying I was late for my appointment. I work almost every day & the girl I wanted my facial with books out about two weeks in advance. I was very upset at the fact this happen, as anyone would be, & instead of apologizing and trying to rectify the situation, the girl on the phone was extremely rude and offered no apology & even worse, no solution. From a person with an extremely busy schedule this is unacceptable & now wasted a day off where I could have done something else. This should a concern for anyone with an appointment here. The girl told me “we called to remind you”, I received no call. So now we have no solution no apology & she’s lying to me to tell me I’m wrong. I have never left a review like this in my life, however I have never had such a poor customer service experience in my life & want people to be ware before they treat you they way I was treated. I was planning on getting monthly facials here leading up to my wedding & now you lost my business. To make it worse the girl I spoke with was so rude to me, keep in mind this was THEIR MISTAKE and offered no solution. She would seriously benefit from a class in customer service so she prevents you from losing anymore customers!!
VERY rude women that work here, seem highly uneducated on skincare and skin sensitivities, upon walking in I felt like I was being judged with vertical stare-downs and such. Felt very uncomfortable. When I went in for my massage, there was no calming music playing, no nice aroma of any kind and just felt like the whole experience was silly. The facial services are astronomically expensive (over $300) - save your money and go to a luxury spa or a Turkish bath in the city over the river. Would not go back sorry!
I've been here many times for massages. I can think of very few experiences that weren't great. In those few instances, they were still pretty good. The spa is small but very nice and relaxing.
I was a first time client here recently and was truly hoping for the great experience that so many reviewers have shared. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I will explain. For over a year, I had been looking forward to a massage and was so excited when I was able to finally book my experience.
As this was my first time there, I did not know that the entrance was in the back parking lot due in part to the fact that there was no available parking when I initially arrived, I parked on the street and just entered via the front door. There is a hair salon upon your entrance then another door into the Spa. As soon as I entered a woman named Caroline did not immediately acknowledge me. I walked up to her and she immediately seemed bothered and rather meanly asked if I was there for a service. I preceded to give her my name when she immediately states that a mask is "mandatory". I of course, have no issue following rules, I just had simply forgotten mine in the car which I explained. Oh btw, Caroline did not herself have a mask on while telling me I need a mask. No bother. She then quickly interjects and says you can grab one by the door which is the actual entrance to the Spa. Again, my first time there, and I did not park in the back so I did not know. I go get a mask and before I even reach to it she says "your welcome". I would have said "thank you" had you given me the time to actually grab it. This is not the way to start what should be a peaceful treatment. The overall sitting area is nothing to write home about, simple, and the gas fireplace was not working. The locker room also not open neither were the saunas. The therapist was not the friendliest, only got 50 mns and not 60. Fine , I can live with that. My massage room was right next to the bathroom where all you hear is toilet flushes during the entirety of your service. The whole vibe of this place is as though they believe they are a Beverly Hills Spa facility, quite pretentious really. I wont be returning and a friend who was going to book, also will no longer be booking now. You should treat people better, at the very least with some courtesy, especially if you are offering personal services.

I had a facial with Jessica a couple weeks ago and she was great- the consult she provided along with the Skin care products she recommended have really made my skin look and feel vibrant and healthy
